Well, that was fast. XD

I didn't quite want to draw any figures yet, so I came across this to get the general feeling of the "moe" game idea I have across.

Here's the scenario (sudden inspiration...plot and details subject to change...)

You are a wandering visitor in the fictional town of Mizu-Mizu (Water-Water), where you find it populated with a good deal of eccentric teenagers like yourself. It's a cold, snowy town, and a little unpopulated, but you hardly think anything of it and instead look for a good inn to stay at to pass the time.

GIRL'S PATH: While you are searching for a place to stay, you can't help but shake the feeling that someone is following you. And every now and then, you hear a little "click" sound...You try to ignore it, but finally, you've had enough. You turn around to face the annoyance and find yourself face-to-face with a cute, mischievous-looking silver-haired boy. He's wearing a camera around his neck, but is pretending like he wasn't just using to to shoot pictures of you, the newcomer to his town. You're just about to give him what for...

...when he speaks up. "Uh, sorry about that. When I see somebody new in this town, I can't help but want to take their picture. The photographer's habit, I guess..."

You're a little annoyed at his behavior, but you introduce yourself. He warmly shakes you hand.

"Nice to meetcha! I'm Zuru, the town photographer! I provide photos for the local newspaper! Well...I would do a better job if anything newsworthy occurred, but that's another story! Y'know, we haven't really gotten any new visitors to Mizu-Mizu for some time now. Maybe you'd like to hang out at my place sometime? It's the little brick house past the hill. Hope to see ya there!"

And with that, Zuru is off running, still compulsively clicking away with his camera as he runs.

What do you do? Do you take up his generous offer? Or do you continue your search for a place to stay? Making friends, girl and boy, and hopefully snagging a guy while you're at it, seem to be the last thing on your mind, but you'd be surprised how quickly friends come to find you in the little charming town of Mizu-Mizu.

BOY'S PATH: You're walking along a snowy road, when off in the near distance, you see a little cabin with a traditional chimney. Frozen from the incessant snow, you stumble inside. A cute pigtailed redhead sits behind a counter nursing a cup of cocoa. You walk over to her, curious about the purpose of this establishment.

Lazily, she answers back, "Welcome to Mizu-Mizu Inn, how may I help you?" While you decide what to ask her about the town, her listless expression starts to perk up, and she ends up shouting, "Mama! There's a stranger out her! I think he wants a bath or a room or something!"

"Oh, no, that's not..." You start to say, but then you think, Mmm, a hot bath might actually be pretty good right now...

A short woman with turquoise hair walks out from a random side door. You give a her a once over and decide that while she and her "daughter" are both very pretty, "Mama" doesn't look anything like her child.

"Please forgive my daughter, she isn't very skilled in customer etiquette, you see. My name is Amy, and that is my daughter Haruka. Please, make yourself at home. No charge for the first three nights.

You want to protest, but Amy insists. "Haruka, please take our guest to his room and offer him a bath token. You get one token per day." She notifies you, then leaves in the door you saw her come in from.

So now for three days you are staying free at the Mizu-Mizu Bathhouse and Inn. Will you get to know your hostess, Haruka, better? Or will you mingle around, befriending other residents of the town? The choice is up to you...

Note: If you have a different "preference" than the heterosexual scenario given, keep in mind that any participant of any gender can talk to any person with any kind of result. You could end up in a relationship with a character, perhaps they'll wind up hating you, or vice versa, and maybe you just want to make as many friends as possible. Whatever you'd like to do, it can happen in Mizu-Mizu!~

Anywho, hope the story grabbed your attention! I'll post up a journal reiterating the story, rules, and hopefully add some characters over time with updates! Please don't hate, I just came up with this in 5 minutes!
WARNING: Expect lots of anime customs, such as colorful hair, and Japanese names...it is a "moe" game, after all...
Some of my characters will make cameos, but they will be the "adult" character in the game. You won't be able to form a relationship with Amy for example. Arma will make an appearance, as well. These cameos will run the shops and tell you about goings-on. If you have offended a certain character, talk to a cameo and they might tell you what happened or where that character is.

And if not...it'll just be some caffeine-driven bout of my craziness... And wow...I just realized I'm making this into alomst a date sim...but I suck w/ flash...(this is gonna suck so bad...)

And in case you haven't noticed the characters featured on the "cover" are Zuru and Haruka. I've decided they're the main characters. You'll see them more often because they'll be your guide around Mizu-Mizu, the snowy town with a mysterious secret surrounding it...and perhaps some of its inhabitants...
